We adopted Stevie in Oct. 2017. She was a rescue from San Bernardino with 4 dogs in her litter saved literally off the streets. Mark and I got married in August, but I have wanted a dog for as long as I can remember. I am a nurse and was living a career traveling to developing countries (Malawi, Uganda, India) for long periods of time so was unable to get a dog before, but it was so wonderful to be married, and then have a dog to share and give love to.
