Stevie is a 9 month old Maltese in Seattle, WA, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion.

Stevie joined our family in April and she has been the greatest joy and the best decision we ever made. She is the most playful and energetic girl, and deeply loyal to me especially. But she also adores every member of her family, including her Papa, her human siblings, and her dog siblings. She is the funniest girl, and we can't imagine life without her.

Stevie woke up yesterday lethargic and not herself. She improved a bit with some positive signs. She woke up today even worse, completely lethargic, unsteady on her feet, and disoriented. After a full day at the hospital, we learned she has Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA.) It is life threatening, and she needs a blood transfusion asap.

She is the most loving and playful dog I have ever met. She's so kind and gentle, so so loyal, and very much attached to me. She came to us as an emotional support dog for me, and she has been that and so much more. Everyone has witnessed her turning my day around just by hopping onto the bed and kissing me. She is so loved, and so *needed.*

We have had several unexpected expenses all at once (including what we have already paid for her treatment) and our emergency fund is tapped out. The urgency makes it difficult to explore other financial options. She needs this blood transfusion in the next 12 hours.
