We adopted Stew from a shelter that houses only pitbulls in February of this year. Stew is 6yrs old and was found wandering the streets of the inner city. We don't know much else about him but he is fitting in with the family greatly. His new family consists of myself, my son, my daughter our 9yr old pitt mix Violet, who we rescued from the same shelter, our 2 cats & a lizard.

We took Stew to Community Vet for what we thought would be a normal check up and it turns out the poor boi has an infected tooth that needs to come out. My guess is he had been surviving on the streets for some time by eating garbage & other things that weren't good for him. He cried out during a recent game of tug of war, & has been bleeding from his mouth on & off so I am sure he is in pain.

As it turns out Stew is nothing but a giant cuddle bug he loves to throw him self into you & wait for you to give him lots of pets and scratches. He loves relaxing with the family especially his new fur siblings. He also luvs walking, trying to chase deer & squirrels, riding in the car, eating oinkies & really just eating. He has stolen our hearts faster than we thought possible.

We adopted Stew w/the best of intentions. I am a working single parent and while I knew there would be new costs involved I hadn't anticipated it to be this much. My family has fallen in love with Stew & we desperately want to provide him w/the care he needs.
