About this campaign

February 1, 2020 Stitch and his brother, Leo, came into this world. 8 weeks later I welcomed them into my home in a small town in Florida called Davenport. A few weeks later, at barely 3 months old, Leo was diagnosed with FIP. He went through a series of tests and treatments but nothing worked. He passed away June 7 earlier this year. Meanwhile, Stitch began growing this mass on his neck rapidly.

Stitch is the most laid back boy I’ve ever met! He has 2 older brothers, Lewie and Zane, an older sister, Octavia, and 2 younger sisters, Stella and Anaya. He loves playing with them and chasing his mouse, however the mass on his neck results in him having shortness of breath and causes him to quit playing his favorite games and having to just watch them from his tower.

Stitch causes smiles to those who enter the room. He welcomes you with headbutts and rubs, offering you his belly for scratches unlike any of his siblings lol. Stitch is truly one of a kind and we’d do anything to have as much time with him as possible.

Once the mass on Stitch’s neck began to noticeably increase we took him to Orchid Springs Animal Hospital where they did many test and took lots of fluid out of it and gave him antibiotics and steroids. Just a few months later it tripled in size becoming the size of a baseball causing breathing difficulties We took him back to the hospital where they determined the mass was solid and needs surgery

After losing my job due to heart problems and not being able to save money, the surgery seems nearly impossible, let alone the cost of test beforehand. Saving Stitch would mean everything to us. We’d do anything to help him live a longer life and play again.
