About this campaign

When rescued Stockton from a shelter, they told us that he and his brother Isley (who we also adopted) were part of a neglect situation. They now live with us and have a cozy and fun life with our dog Bandit. I always joke and say that they live a pretty great life, constantly playing, sleeping, eating and receiving cuddles from us.

He can be stand-offish but when he wants to cuddle or love on you, it warms your heart. He mostly loves our dog and his brother-they constantly play and groom each other. There are few times, far and in between, where he will come to bed when I go to bed and cuddle with me. I refuse to move and often end up uncomfortable when I wake up, but it is worth it for the cuddles.

We have had unexpected expenses with our house-furnace fixed, leaks and needing to also take our cat in for recent vet care. It would mean the world to have him healthy again. I have been working a lot lately doing covid-19 triage and it makes my day to come home to him.

Stockton has been having urinary issues and stress issues. He started vomiting and was sluggish, meowing a lot. So we took him to the vet. He requires overnight stay, sedation and a catheter to remove his blockage and save his life. He is currently at OSU vet hospital receiving life saving treatment.

Stockton is great, he loves to look out of windows and chatter at birds, always trying to climb the window or doors. When it snows, he loves to try and swat at snowflakes, thinking he can catch them-spoiler alert, he never does. He does love to go outside with us and our dog-but gets scared easily and runs back inside.
