Stone is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Kingsport, TN, who needs $220 for Bloodwork.

I used to rent a room from Stone's original owner and took care of him and all the other fur babies in the home for almost three years. Recently, the owner got into legal trouble and is currently incarcerated. Stone needed a home, so I gladly took him in. Since moving to my house, Stone has become quite content as a strictly indoor cat. He loves to cuddle and enjoys the cat toys.

While I was renting the room from the owner, Stone got into an intense catfight and returned home with open wounds. I helped doctor him back to excellent health. About a week ago, I noticed Stone was rapidly losing weight, his hair was falling out in piles, and his coat was very dull. I took him to Kingsport Animal Hospital three days ago, and he was diagnosed with FIV.

Stone is the sweetest cat you will ever meet. He is not a fighter, and he prefers to avoid confrontation. He wants to be loved and fed. He even likes to cuddle with my Maltipoo. Stone doesn't deserve to be euthanized just because he has FIV. He is a great cat and deserves love, care, and attention.

I am disabled on a fixed income and have three dogs, one with a collapsing trachea, so I barely am making it month to month. Stone needs bloodwork to determine his prognosis, and I have no way of paying for it.
