After a Lifetime of Ear Pain, Stoney Needs Surgery for Lasting Relief

For 11 years, Stoney has been a constant source of love, comfort, and companionship for the family who rescued him as a tiny, sick kitten. His mom found him underweight and struggling with painful eye discharge, and she took him home and nursed him back to health. From that moment on, Stoney became family.
But throughout his life, Stoney has continued to battle painful ear problems, including recurring infections and polyps that kept coming back despite multiple procedures.
His veterinary team recommended a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy, a specialized surgery intended to address the diseased tissue responsible for those recurring polyps and give Stoney the lasting relief he deserves.
Thanks to the generosity of the Waggle community, Stoney was able to get the veterinary care he needed. For his mom, knowing that her beloved boy could receive this important care meant everything. Stoney has spent 11 years bringing comfort and happiness to his family—including his grandchildren—and now he has been given the opportunity to move toward a more comfortable future.
He is still the affectionate, playful boy they know and love, enjoying his favorite toys and cuddling with his mom. After everything he has endured, those ordinary moments are especially precious. Thank you for helping Stoney when he needed his family—and his Waggle family—the most.

The good news is that his veterinary team is optimistic about his prognosis and expects him to recover well following surgery. The challenge is the cost.
