About this campaign

Storm has a lot of life to yet live. When I was about to pick up Storm at 8 weeks, I broke my leg. My neighbor cautioned me against getting a dog at that time. I couldn't pass her up, she is a distant relation to another dog I had years prior who had passed. When I picked her up, the breeder shared her family tree and I saw the name Storm and decided that was her name. It seems appropriate as we were going to weather the Storm of my leg break. I felt like this dog came into my life for a reason. She has such a patient, spunky and loving personality. Storm spent some time in doggie daycare as a pup as well as hanging out with me in the yard while I healed. During this time, she learned to play very well with other visiting dogs. On "sleepovers" with others, I was so proud to hear she is a gracious guest. She shares her toys and water, and invites others to play. Storm is my fur child, as I did not have children. In 2013 we moved out East for a few years and later decided to move back to the midwest. She was a trooper and is so open with meeting new people. She has touched many lives and even helped a couple we met in VA to want get another dog after theirs had passed. In summer we travel to the Duluth Northshore where she loves to walk in the water on the beach area. She loves to hike and explore new places. She means the world to me and I am so blessed to have her in my life.
