Storm is a 6-year-old Border Collie Mix in Lusby, MD, who needs $1,600 for TPLO.

Storm will be 6 on June 24th!
She is a mix of Border Collie, Pitbull, & Eskimo/Alaska dog.
We saved her from becoming a breeder dog :)
She is very smart, but can be stubborn. She is very sassy and has the biggest personality.
Storm tore her left rear ACL/CCL.
Before that, she loved Agility, tracking, hiking, swimming, and soccer.
We are a very active family.

Storm is everyone's best friend and emotional support dog, to include our other dog, Bodom who has doggy ptsd and anxiety.
Every family member loves her!
She gets along with most other dogs (she is scared of German Shepherds). She is mostly good with toddlers and kids, but can sometimes be too excited and will lick their face when some kids don't like that, so I have to give her a break.

I call my dogs my "fur babies", but sometimes Storm really does act like a sassy little toddler and it's adorable.
She will "huff" to pout or show frustration.
We can ask her simple yes or no questions with her giving "paw" for yes.
Even though she loves the snow, she also loves swimming and will be the first one to go in the water, be it the lake, "ocean", or even a puddle. Even if it's 50° out.

Storm was limping intermittently for a week and a half while we did tracking class, but it didn't become concerning until she stoppped putting weight on her leg most of the day. As we are an active family and she and her brother are very rough and tumble during playtime, we are unsure when she actually got injured. She completely tore her back left ACL/CCL.
It is now giving out on her as well.

Storm is very frustrated that she can't do anything she loves, even going for a simple walk. She is still too young to not love her normal active lifestyle, even if we have to slow down a little. She is the best dog and deserves the best quality of life possible.
