2008 my daughter volunteered at local shelter to rescue a dog for 9th birthday. She walked neighborhood dogs to raise the $ for adoption. We went to pick the puppy, this little blue&black ball of floof rescued off the side of the road. Storm both because the X-men character and her colors. 15 yrs have passed, she has been a bright smiling energetic part of the pack with 2 dog & 4 cat siblings.

Storm quickly became my emotional support animal as well. She has a favorite blanket from my daughter as she went away to college 5yrs ago. She has climbed mountains and trails in 4 states. Loves to jump in the snow run alongside rivers and sit on the beach, but wont swim in the water. Knows left and right. Loves meat and pepperoni sticks and to catch them while playing fetch.

Strom has a sideways smile &sneeze when excited. She runs when we come home lays down roll over for belly rubs until her leg twitches. I am a type 1 diabetic and she has the ability to tell when I got low blood sugar on hikes. She would sit down and make me eat before continuing. She recognizes my daughters voice and image on the phone. She loves to play with our foster kittens and slides around

Last year Storm turned 14 she had been having trouble urinating walk around the yard grunting trying over& over to go. Then she had a accident we saw 2 pea sized stones & blood. We took her to the vet and did what we could xrays and UA.antibiotics &prescription food to shrink stones it helped for a while. Now need blood test to check full body function for her age to determine next direction.

We are on SSDI fixed income& my daughter in college. I have been denied care credit & scratchpay. We barely make ends meet. Storm has been by my side for 15yrs we want her to be as healthy & comfortable as possible.
