Stormy is a 2-year-old Husky in Allen Park, MI, who needs $1,500 for orthopedic surgery.

I rescued Stormy in 2020. We are giving her the next life. She just had puppies so she is always being watched so we don't know how she got hurt. One day i woke up and she couldn't get up and kept crying. I took her right to the vet and they said she has a fracture. We can't find anyone that will help us unless we have all the money. We have some money but not all of it. We were told $5,000.

She protects me and my daughter which is nice since it's only us. She's attentive to her puppies. She's so spoiled and loves being with us all the time. I make her own food with chicken and rice and vegetables she loves it. She's the best husky since i hear they are usually hard to own. She loves us so much she has never ran off which is something huskys like to do.

I work as a family legal advocate so i work for less so others can afford legal help. I love what i do but having emergencies like this doesn't fit well with my profession. I work to help people not get rich. Im a single mom and when covid hit our office was closed.

We haven't found anyone that can help her until we pay approximately $5,000. The doctor that did the x-ray we were told by his employees he's not good at this surgery and he said if money was an issue he could try to fix it. So we are still looking. Can't keep paying over $100 to have her loved at for them to tell us its way too much.

When she howls and talks to us it's so fun. We swear she can say i love you. Anytime her puppies make a noise she is so attentive with them. She loves to go for walks but i have not been able to take her on any. Even though she is so hurt she wants to do everything she cant. She has a wonderful spirit. The way she watches to protect my daughter is the best.
