About this campaign

Blind Girl was found Tuesday, April 6th with obvious eye problems. I agreed to rescue her and be responsible for her, esp knowing she was young, and hoping she had an adoptable personality. She was brought to my work/Whitney Veterinary Hospital for an evaluation. Her eyes were severely infected, shetested felv/fiv negative, and otherwise in decent condition (although nervous). We started her on medications and she began improving, eating, purring, and showing us how sweet she is! We then sedated her on Friday for further evaluation. Her eyeballs underneath her 3rd eyelids were extremely abnormal and not able to be saved. Her eyelids are also curling in because the eyeballs are so small and this is causing her discomfort and a source for infection and chronic drainage. To have a happy life and make her adoptable, she needs her eyeballs removed and to be spayed. This is scheduled for April 15th.
