Stray kitten is a 1 month old Mix-Breed in Swannanoa, , who needs $1,800 for Exam, Amputation, X-rays, Diagnosis and Treatment.

We found a kitten, around 5 weeks old. Stressed out and on the side of the interstate. I immediately got out and grabbed her along with searching all over for others. After we got her we realized she was hurt. We already own 2 cats and we know they will quickly warm up to her once she is healed and comfortable. We will do anything to make sure this sweet baby is okay just in need of a little help.

This is an emergency, she has a laceration to her back leg which is causing her to drag and be in pain. When found she was covered in maggots and flees and she very badly needs x-rays and as the emergency vet suggested, possibly an amputation. We brought her to S.a.v.e.s emergency vet but are bringing her to Reems creek veterinary clinic this afternoon.

She is absolutely beautiful and just so sweet. The second I saw her on the side of the road my heart just broke. We want so badly to keep her safe and healthy, and pain free.

I am a college student along with working full time, after not being able to work during hurricane helene we have no savings. I am trying to figure out a bank loan or such since I don’t qualify for care credit. This is just such a sudden expense but it is needed for the baby
