Stryder is a 8 month old Mix-Breed in Salina, KS, who needs $2,000 for Cross Pin Surgery.

Stryder came into our lives a few short months ago. The last of his litter to find a home, this sweet fun loving puppy was a perfect fit for us. A few short days ago he tried to play doing his usual bite the toes game to immobilize you and it caused me to trip and land on him. Fracturing his femoral growth plate and dislocating his hip to where he needs surgery.

Upon my trip and fall I landed on the back half of him and fractured him femoral growth plate and dislocated his hip. We had to take him into an emergency pet clinic since all the vets in our area were closed. It’s called urgent pet care( I know it sounds generic) but it is located in Witichta Kansas.

We have 2 cats that he would love to play with but our cats are a little unsure of him due to his size we think. He loves his squeaky toys and his favorite is his fish. He loves the water well at least if it’s coming out of the hose. As far as snow we are unsure due to this coming winter would be his first to play in.

Both my wife and I work very hard she works for the department of transportation and I’m a painter for a manufacturing company. My wife however has an auto immune disease and between medicine and doctor visits it’s very expensive. We love Stryder to the moon and back.
