Stunner Austin Mikael Wigington is a 1-year-old Lab/Mastiff mix in Cumberland, OH, who needs $960 for FHO surgery.

This is our Stunner Austin Mikael...he came to us from a family member who had an accidental litter...we took in 2 of the puppies. Our Stunner & his sister, Faye Anne is my step sons dog. Stunner is 1 of 5 in the home & 1 of our 3 babies financially. My fiancé had a girl, Babygirl (Beagle Mix) & I had a girl, Diamond Dallas Paige (Pit Mix) both rescues so we decided to get one together, Stunner.

Stunner is great! He is a good dog, gets along great with the other dogs...big old couch potato most of the time...never met such a lazy puppy. He absolutely loves the recliner, that's his. He fits right in which is why surrendering him is not an option. He needs to have the FHO surgery done to his right leg ASAP & his left in the future (hopefully we'll qualify for Care Credit by then).

We make pretty good money for around here but between us paying all our bills, rent, insurance, WiFi, phones, gas, electric, fuel, car payments, food, etc., we just don't have any extra money laying around. We have about $240.

Stunner's condition is genetic, it's nothing we did. From what I understand he doesn't have a socket for his hip to go into so he needs FHO surgery to cut the ball off the end so it isn't causing him pain & rubbing against everything. He is treated by The Animal Clinic of Cambridge who is referring him to Dr. Brandon at Sugarcreek Vet and the surgery is $1000-1200 PER SIDE.

Stunner makes us laugh every day. We have never seen such a lazy dog. He is our world along with our 2 girls. He is such a good dog, loves swimming, loves car rides (does GREAT), loves camping & we can let him outside (beside us of course) & he won't go any further than 10ft from us. He is definitely a momma's boy, always right by me, and I wouldn't trade him.
