About this campaign
My kitten was dropped off to me like a drive by. I was thinking about getting a kitten due to the mice problem I found in my apartment. I asked my brother if he knew anyone with kittens that maybe looking for a home. Than on Sept. 14th 2023 I got a phone call saying come outside. When I went outside I was handed a box with a kitten in it nothing else. That is how Styarr became a part of our family
Styarr was scared at first. She wasn’t using the bathroom on her home or eating out of a bowl. My 9 year old bottle feed her. Styarr loves us. She runs behind us, she loves following us around, she loves to sit on the tub when we take baths. Styarr have a foot fetish because she loves to okay with our feet. She runs to the door when she hear us.
Styarr means a lot to us. She plays with my 9 year old daughter who treats her like a baby. She keeps me on my feet I should say which I love. My 17 year old daughter uses her as her support when she having a rough day. She has become a part of our family and everyday life
Tuesday afternoon is when things went downhill for us. She stop eating but was drinking or at least I thought she was drinking. Wednesday my baby was sluggish and weak. The girls and I started to worry since this was not her normal self. I took Styarr to Bond Vet today and because I didn’t have the funds to get her care for they did what they thought would help. She was given nausea meds, dewormer
I’m a struggling mom who works but I’m living from check to check to make ends meet for us. I was denied scratch pay and care credit. Styarr being sick is putting my family in a bad disposition. We crying, can’t sleep, depressed. All we want is to have her healthy again
