About this campaign

Hand to Paw

Su-Su is a street dog in Thailand who was found with machete wounds. Hand to Paw was able to rescue him to provide the care he desperately needed.

They named him Su-Su which is Thai for "fight-fight" and means perseverance during hard times. This dog went through unimaginable pain and abuse and has show unbelievable strength; he has earned his name!

Su-Su is hospitalized and receiving wound care including IV antibiotics, pain meds, and laser treatments. Due to his pain and anxiety, he is sedated during the treatments to make the process as comfortable as possible for Su-Su. He will be an expensive rescue, but Hand to Paw is determined to provide all the care he needs to be healthy.

Hand to Paw is on a mission to help Thailand street dogs. They provide care to dogs like Su-Su when no one else will. Please consider donating to help Su-Su receive the care he needs to continue his fight!

*Update 8/9/24:*
Su-Su is learning to trust and is now playing with other dogs! He will be a resident at our sanctuary as we did not want to return him to the streets to likely cross paths with the crazy person who hacked him. We are thrilled this sweet boy is doing well and has made such progress.
