Suki is an 11 year old chihuahua, shih tzu, and Pomeranian mix. She was given to me by some family friends in 2013 when I was going through a rough time after separating from the Navy. I did not expect her to have as huge of an impact on my life as she has, but she is the reason I am still here. She has been my companion ever since.

Suki is a very easy-going dog. She loves human interaction and will nudge your hand so that you will pet her. She also loves to give non-stop affection in the form of doggy kisses.

Suki is the kindest and sweetest dog I have ever met. She has never bitten anyone, and she's great with kids, even babies. She seems to make everyone happy and bring out the best in the people she encounters.

Suki used to live with a 50 lb dog that accidentally stepped on her leg. After the incident, she limped for almost a week. A few months later, we moved to Washington and she started limping again. The vet told me she needed surgery then, but I did not proceed with the procedure. In the past month, she showed signs of pain when her leg got stiff. The stiffness caused her to yelp.

The cost of the surgery and deposit is 6300. Anything will help. It will mean the world to us. Suki has many years left on her, and I would like for her to be pain-free in her senior years.
