My sweet Suki currently lives with my my family and I in our townhome. My cat Suki has a little sister Kit Kat that I adopted from a close friend, and they are inseparable. Very playful and spunky little ones with Kit Kat being 8 mo. and Suki 5 y/o. He also has two elder sisters Moxy and Willow. We are a household of four fur babies, as we just lost our eldest, October Coy who lived to be 15 y/o.

My cat Suki has been hospitalized for 3 days due to high fever (105°F), inflamed organs, lethargy, dehydration, and diarrhea. His white blood cell count is low, & despite various tests (blood, urine, X-rays), the exact infection is unknown. Pancreatitis or IBD is suspected. He’s receiving fluids, antibiotics, and supportive care to stabilize him & reduce inflammation at the Animal Emergency Center

My cat Suki is caring and spunky, he is very vocal about his needs and loves interactive play. His favorite toy is a mouse on a string, he loves to hunt, play fight with his sister and mediate cat disputes, what a smart boy he is. Also very affectionate and emotionally intelligent, when my our eldest cat past he showed tons of love & continues to be loving to those caring for him at the hospital.

This is an unexpected expense, I am paying off debt to start my savings, this was so unexpected for a young healthy boy. I thought I had time. I’ve also just started grad school and work full time and these vet bills have pulled me back to square one in my financial health.
