Sunny is a 7-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever in Brighton, MA, who needs $1,950 for Chemotherapy.

Sunny came into our lives 7yrs ago, we got her from a breeder in our area. We named her Sunshine, cause she's my Sunshine, So please don't take my Sunshine away.🎶. Silly song I sing to her when she's not feeling well. Sunny loves everyone , especially children, she is the sweetest, most loving, & loyal girl. Shes been with me through thick and thin.

Sunny is attached at the hip to me, I call her my shadow. She likes to sleep with me, but she puts her body along mine and her head goes on my legs,so if I move, she'll know. Sunny has 2 cousins(dogs) that live next door.She is always outside playing with them, she is just amazingSunny loves outdoors,from burrowing thru the snow in the winter to swimming in all the different lakes around our area.

My financial situation is not to good. Ive been unemployed for almost a year&barely can pay my regular bills. This is due to the pandemic. I've spent all my savings, Sunny was diagnosed with Lymphoma on 3/21 & had her first chemo treatment on 3/26. She will have to do chemotherapy , weekly for 4 & 1/2 months. She is being treated at Animal Cancer Care Specialists, Westford, MA. Her vets name is Dr. Romansik. Sunny will be receiving her 2nd dose of chemo on 4/2. It's amazing how good she feels the days after chemo. Without chemo,she'd only live 3-4 months!!!!

Sunny has 2 cousins that live next door, Grizz & Boston. Anytime we go out, she runs to their house so she can check if their outside!! She loves to go on hikes & swim in the lake after a long hike. Also we have to play ball at least once a day!! It doesn't matter what season it is or if its, rain ,snow or sun, she absolutely loves the outdoors.
