Hi, my name is Sunny and I'm 9 years old Boston terrier. My dad got me when I was a little puppy. He calls me his little boy. His name is Mike. My dad was sad because his dad went to heaven and he needed me in his life. So we have been together ever since 2012. My dad is very protective and loves me very much. I love him too.

My dad and I live together in a little apartment but he takes me everywhere. We go on a nature walk everyday to my favorite place. Dad says I'm a therapy dog so I get to go to all the hospitals with him and meet the people that help my dad get better. My dad has some physical limitations but he works hard at staying healthy and lots of physical therapy so we can always go for a walk.

My dad used to work and i never went without anything I needed or wanted but a few years ago my dad got sick and had a lot of surgeries on his legs so he can't work like he used to so we do the best we can but my medical emergency costs a lot of money so we need some help.

Last week I didn't feel good. Dad was worried but didn't know what was wrong. Then I got very sick very fast. I collapsed, was confused and my dad rushed me to the Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center so I could get help. Dad looked scared but said everything would be ok. We met an angel named Christa, a lot of Emergency staff and Dr Nicole Danova performed my surgery and saved my life.

Dad says I'm the most sensitive dog in the world and I make a lot of faces. He says I drive him crazy and he laughs a lot at the unique, Sunny way I do things. Dad says he would be lost without me so I promise never to get lost. He buys me fleece blankies. I love them. I sleep with one every night. I have my very own couch and my own bed right next to dad's bed.
