After losing my previous companion of 12+ years I had a friend who had a friend who had this puppy he loved but he at the time couldn't afford to feed. I didn't really want to take on the responsibility of a new puppy after losing my previous "Old Man Justice" but when I met him I could see that he really wasn't eating so we agreed I would home him and that his previous owner can still visit him.

He's one of the most affectionate animals I've ever had. He loves to give hugs and kisses, he cherishes his loved ones, and has had some protective behavior tendencies nothing out of line just makes sure I know he's protecting me and won't allow anything to happen to me and my family. He is a gentle giant.

I'm quite convinced he doesn't realize that he, in fact, is a dog I believe he thinks he's a human.. I'll pet his face and he'll put his paw on my face he loves to interact with people! Right now it's hard for me to smile because I feel as if I can't give him enough love or attention but he gets every second of it I know he needs medical attn for his mental health and praying something helps!

He has severe separation anxiety, he'll sit on my heels while I'm doing the dishes, he's tried to jump out of a second-story window when I was right outside. He gets out of cages, he destroys the house in mins. I haven't been able to leave him home alon at all since I've gotten him in July 2022. I made him an appt with our veterinarian to see what I can do to help his distress and get him fully looked at.

I'm a full-time student at this time currently looking for employment. My pets are like my kids only better! They don't ask for anything and if he can understand that he's not getting left behind or going back to the pound with me I know he'd be a lot less anxious.
