Sunny is a 1-year-old Domestic Short Hair Cat in Philadelphia, PA, who needs $1,800 for Endoscopy Gastrointestinal.

Sunny was rescued a little over a year ago from our backyard in Philadelphia, PA. My sister Kendall and I discovered the kittens and their mother one day when we looked outside our window. Sunny and his 5 other siblings in the litter were fostered out by us and our neighbors and we decided to keep Sunny and his brother Macaroni (gray cat) and give them the best lives we could give.

Sunny is a very sweet little kitten. He spends his days sleeping on the couch with his brother Macaroni. They love to play with each other and take cat naps together. Sunny loves to cuddle under blankets and will always come and snuggle up to you on your lap. Sunny’s household bestie is Sharrod, Kendall’s partner. He loves to watch Sharrod play video games.

Sunny is an absolutely hilarious cat. He’s extremely friendly and curious. While his brother, Macaroni, usually hides when guests visit, Sunny is always first to greet them when they come in the door. He loves lots of pets and back massages. His favorite toys are string toys. He loves to roll around and do big stretches on his back in the sun!

Sunny’s regular care is done at Art City Vets in Philadelphia. He has accumulated quite a bit of hair elastics in his stomach. He was sick and would not eat so we took him to the vet where they did an x-ray to find his stomach is full of hair ties. In order to get them out we need to have a scope surgically remove them.

Kendall and I are both recent college graduates and have been working since graduation. We are hard workers and dedicated to our practice but the cost of student loans and college leaves us unable to do such a large expense for our sweet Sunny boy.
