About this campaign
Cats have been apart of my family since I was 6. SURAHBI came into our lives after losing my Russian Blue, “Sheba” to a hit and run. Surahbi was from a liter of 8. Her mother was classic Siamese, and her father was a Black Tabby. Surahbi was the kitten that kept waddling over to either myself or my son, so we determined that she was choosing Us!
At one point, I managed three females and three litters all at once. Surahbi was my Son’s cat for awhile until she took refuge from the rest of the Family in my room. From that point forward she’s been a Mama’s Girl! What Surahbi says, goes(yes she talks, A Lot). She’s pretty chill these days; sleeping and grooming, sunbathing and being held; that’s her pampered existence!
I have been out of work since the onset of the Pandemic. My Baby is too many things to and for us. Like my son; she means everything to us. I’m not ready to be without her. I know that I’ll never be ready, but I can’t lose her because of my financial inabilities.
Stack Veterinary Hospital is treating Surahbi. Oct 2020 she was assessed and did not have Pyometra, but had symptoms that persist through today. She had a second sonogram last week which determined she does have Pyometra. It’s draining at this point, but her uterus is closing according to her recent scan. She needs surgery immediately says, Dr. Stack.
Surahbi can tell time. She will patiently wait for 8am on the dot for breakfast, 1pm for lunch, two snacks, and dinner at 5p. Not a minute before, not a minute late is she ever for each meal. “Asking to eat” consists of jumping on mine or my son’s lap, head-bump, and then jumps down as if to say, “You know what time it is; LETS GO Hooman!”
