In July of 2012 I was fresh out of active duty and just returned home. I had been searching for a dog to call my own a found Sweetie on a For Sale post online advertising a litter of puppies. She was destined to be mine because she was the last of the litter when I went to see them. She was 6 weeks old and fit in my hand. She snuggled right up to me and I fell in love. She has been family since.

Sweetie was attacked on Oct 16th by another dog resulting in the horrible broken leg I posted an Xray of. Bartlesville Animal Hospital has done amazing with her so far but unfortunately an infection has set into the leg and it needs to be amputated soon. The longer it takes me to find help the more dangerous the injuries become and time is slipping through my fingers.

Sweetie is a human in disguise. She is a spoiled princess and she knows it. She is always willing to snuggle up on the couch with me or my daughters to watch TV and will always dance at the very mention of a car ride. She always tries to help every teary eye in my house with love and wet doggy kisses. She loves sunshine and adventures anytime! We have never been apart, she knows who her family is.

I moved to Oklahoma last year and it's been a rough year. Between repairs from the storms and losing all my vehicles to unexpected mechanical failures not to mention the economy things have been really tight money wise. I'm absolutely distraught. I just want her healthy!
