Sylvester is a 4-year-old Shorthair Cat in East Haven, CT, who needs $2,000 for ACL Surgery.

Sylvester is an indoor cat. He’s always playing around and loves eating. He was playing with a toy and chasing it when he jumped off a desk and got his leg caught. He tore his ACL and his CCL. It’s a big surgery and he might’ve torn more but they won’t know until they go into surgery. His leg can be saved so we want to try to do everything we can to help him so he won’t have to lose his leg.

Sylvester loves cuddles, kisses and plays with the other cats. He is very active and is constantly playing around. He’s very friendly and will cuddle and lay on anyone who comes over. He gets along well with the other cats and even takes care of them. he’s always cleaning them and playing with them.

He runs around and loves to be scratched on his back and when you hit the right spot he starts licking whatever’s in front of him. he’s so lovable towards people and the other cats in the house. right now he is isolated from the other cats so he doesn’t jump on things and hurt his leg even more. he gets time everyday to go out and see them still he just has to be watched so he doesn’t jump.

The surgery is $5,000 and i’ve used all the care credit i got approved for. He needs surgery and his leg is at risk for amputation and he’s only 4 that is the last thing we’d want to put him through. If there’s a chance to save his leg that’s what I want to do for him. He’s a happy cat and runs around all day.

I’ve used all my care credit that i got approved for just for him to been seen right after the accident happened. That covered x-rays, radiographs, meds and his overnight stay. It would mean so much to save his leg. He tries to walk around but can’t get far and just plops.
