When Sylvester came into my life I promised to love him and take care of him for his whole life. I kept that promise. Throughout the 12 years I have had him, he has given me so much more than I have given him. He taught me what unconditional love is, something I had not known until I had him. On 9/16 Sylvester went to the emergency vet hospital. He has laryngeal paralysis and tracheal collapse. He can't keep his airway open and he will die from this. He needs a specialty surgery to tie his airway open, so we can have more time together. With that borrowed time I will continue to love and cherish him for the rest of his life. Sylvester is so intelligent. He talks to me with different sounding meows and has taught me to understand him. He has a specidic meow for everything he likes and dislikes. This added to his sassy sweet personality. He is my best friend. Everyday he purrs and shows his love to me. And everyday I show my love to him. He loves to sit by the window and watch the world go by.

This surgery is ~6500 dollars. I have a rare headache condition that causes me to get stroke like symptoms. Because of this I have no emergency fund and cannot come up with that amount of money within a month. Without medical care I wouldnt even be able to drive or work.
