Sylvie is a 1 year old Savannah in Bloomfield Hills, MI, who needs $1,250 for Left Medial Patellar Luxation - Grade 2.

My cat Sylvie joined our family in April 2024. She is a Savannah, and is 1.5 years old. She lives with my Mom, my sister, and I & her furry sister Coconut. She is a love and spreads joy around our house with her kisses, snuggles, and positive disposition. Being so young and active, it has been really difficult watching her struggle to walk.

Sylvie was accidently tripped over by my friend and had a surgery in February for left medial luxating patella. She recovered well but a few weeks ago reinjured it jumping and now has to have the same surgery but more invasive because the ortho at Hartrick Veterinary Hospital will now deepen the patellar groove, do a tibial tuberosity transposition and an internal fixation with pins and wire.

Sylvie has a sister named Coconut and the two are the best playmates. They also like to find their person and get as much loving as possible and course request their next meal. Sylvie is cuddled next to me right now and all I want to do is help her feel better.

I would not start a fund raising campaign but my mom lost her job and my dad passed away two years ago. We are still paying off her first surgery on Care Credit so to have to do it again (not covered by insurance) unexpectedly and spend thousands of dollars is a hardship.
