About this campaign
TK was born March 12, 2025 to an abandoned female dog we rescued. She has lived with us since birth. She is 1 of only 2 females in a litter of 12 puppies.
While getting spayed her bladder was nicked, which led to her incision having to be enlarged to repair the damage. She suffered complications, resulting in hospitalization and 3 more surgeries. She has developed a large abdominal wall hernia allowong a portion of her bowel to come through. She requires additional surgery. She is being treated at Texas A & M University's small animal hospital.
TK is a very sweet girl, the only remaining female amongst 6 brothers. Before the surgery she was very active and lively. She loved to mother her brothers. She loves head scratches and anything she can chew on. She loves to lay in the sun and spend time with her mother (who is an outside dog) and wrestle with her siblings.
When taking TK to get spayed we were not expecting to have these complication. Her surgeries have amounted to $7,000 we are struggling to pay on a limited income. We only want her to have a chance at a happy, healthy life.
