Tabby is a 1 Year Old Mix-Breed in Lafayette, IN, Who Needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

This precious loving cat found us and is very sick. We have brought her to a teaching vet hospital that after initial assessment says it’s a very strange case and needs to do further testing at a cost that I cannot afford in my own. I fell in love with her immediately and on our way to the hospital she began to meow and several times it sounded like she was saying I love you. I cried all the way.

Her condition is one that that the vet has not seen and is confiding with other vets as to where to go from here. We do not know why her body is stiff and cannot stand up. Her blood pressure is very low but all other basic blood tests are normal. To try and save her there are extensive costs I cannot afford on my own and she deserves a chance. Please help.

She just met us today and already shows her love and affection and thankfulness for caring. My heart and gut tell me she’s here with me still for a reason being as sick as she is. I want to try and save her and give her a life she deserves.

I live on disability income and struggle but get by. It wouldn’t be fare to her to not reach out for help so the vet and students can learn from her illness for future cases while also trying to save her. Suggestions r appreciated from vets with advanced knowledge.
