About this campaign
I found this beautiful boy under my deck in really bad shape, and meowing non-stop out of pain or fear or both. It was winter time, and he was freezing cold and shivering. He had a deep cut on his chin that looked severely infected. He was nothing but skin and bones. He looked so pitiful. There is no telling how long he had been on his own hungry, injured, and scared. I took him to the vet so that he could get all of the medical help that he needed, and with medication the infection cleared up, and he soon began to gain weight, and seemed to be very healthy for a few years. Then in March 2014 Tabby was diagnosed with diabetes. And in December 2014 he was diagnosed with iris melanoma. Consequently, he needed to have an eye removed in January 2015. His prognosis was grim, because the cancer had spread, but Tabby has somehow survived the cancer -- on top of being diabetic -- and the other health issues and hardship that he has suffered. Yet, Tabby has never once given-up, himself, so I could never give-up on him as long as he has the will to live -- and he most assuredly does!
