Taco is a 3 year old Maine Coon in Chesapeake, , who needs $2,000 for Exploratory GI Surgery and Resection.

Taco was a Christmas gift to our family a few years ago. We are a cat loving family and most of our babies are rescues. He didn’t much want attention until HE wants attention. He’s so loving and kind and we will be distraught without him.

He gets chronic UTIs and we’ve spent quite a bit on these treatments and giving him the best life possible. He recently was diagnosed with a blockage and we unfortunately cannot afford the $5k surgery. We’ve just paid almost $700 for diagnostics and we are at a complete loss.

He’s such a sweetie. He loves sleeping on your neck. He wants attention only when he wants it…. But boy is it precious. He talks and says hello which is awesome besides when he does it at 2 am scaring us! He snuggles with his cat siblings and jumps on all things high. Shower doors, curtain rods, etc. We can’t imagine life without him.

My mother was just diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. Most of my funds have been spent traveling back and forth to South Carolina to be by her side. We’ve spent a great deal recently on Tacos vet bills and we genuinely cannot afford this surgery.
