Taco is a 12 year old Chihuahua in Gallatin, TN, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

We rescued Taco from the Georgetown animal shelter 11 years ago. He was estimated to be a year old at that time. Since that time we have moved across the country a number of times, Taco has lived in Texas, California, Washington, and Tennessee, each new home bringing new adventures and new smells. He loves to explore and guard his home.

I am seeking help for an emergency medical procedure for Taco. He has incurred a spinal injury, and is in need of surgery to get him back on his feet. Currently he has lost spatial awareness of three legs, but deep pain is still present in all feet.

Taco is a fierce protector. From day one, he never seemed to know he was a chihuahua, any noise outside or passerby is starkly warned of Taco’s territory via his adorable, ferocious, yapping.

Taco’s necessary care requires specialty services including neurology, that his ordinary vet could not provide. These specialty services are at a much higher price.
