About this campaign
About a year and a half ago, I was in the drive thru at Taco Bell and I heard a kitten meowing loudly like it was in distress. After I ordered my food, I came back around and noticed a little bitty kitten hiding in the bushes all alone, so I picked him up and took him home, and I’ve been his mama ever since. He was so little, I had to bottle feed him at first. He’s my family now.
About a week ago, he tried to swipe at the flame of a candle and it caught his paw on fire. It badly damaged his left front paw, and he is in a lot of pain. I took him to the vet and they gave him some fluids and pain meds, but it burned him so badly that some of the tissue at the tips of his paw are necrotic. I ran out of money to pay for the follow up treatment and I don’t know how to clean it.
He will sit on my chest and lick my face for an hour straight. I have to stop him sometimes because his little cat tongue will make my skin raw if I don’t. I have never had a pet before and I love him so much. I hate to see him feeling so bad and I’m so much pain but I don’t have the resources to help him. I don’t want him to die. The shelter will put him down in his current state.
I have no money left. I already used up the $400 the local shelter will help with for vet bills, too. This is our only hope now. Please, help me help Taco
