This sweet as sugar stray baby was found injured hiding under a car in Hialeah, FL. She struggles to walk and urinate and her belly is huge. Finder believes she may have been beaten. She is very young, maybe 9-10 months old, and despite her suffering she still manages a little tail wag. She has been through so much pain and neglect in her young life.

She was rushed over to Town and County Animal Hospital in Miami over the weekend and had emergency surgery to repair a double fracture in her front leg - we were given an estimate of $4K for JUST for the surgery. The extreme bloat in her belly is believed to be because she is full of parasites draining her of any nutrients. This means she has been neglected for most, if not all, of her life.

Taffy has known only neglect and pain at the hands of humans, but is sweet, loving and trusting regardless. She has won over the hearts of the vet staff and everyone who has met her. We will heal her body and soul and make sure she finds a loving forever home once she is healed, but she has a long way to go. Please help us help Taffy!
