Taisito came into my life when he was only 4 months old. He was gifted to me in Guayaquil, Ecuador. After finding an opportunity to live and work in NY I did everything possible to bring him to NY with me. Worked hard on saving the complete cost for flying him to NY and moved with me 3 months after. He has been the life of my family, my best friend and most loyal baby.

He is definitely a family dog, truly protective of the family. He is very very obedient at home and will do anything for food :) He is a lovely lazy bear. He is not the most active but loves playing on his own at random times. Will wake you up to take him on walks and play with him. He enjoys watching TV and howling to sounds.

I have recently just lost my mother to stroke. Father passed 19 years ago and have had to cover all funeral fees and medical costs. I am struggling to pay bills with a low-pay job. Trying to find more weekend jobs to have extra income but this pandemic has made it difficult.

He has been truly healthy always, we have taken great care of him but suddenly suffered tick bites and liver inflammation. I have visited many VETS and none have been able to see what he really has. After multiple vet visits, I decided to take him to the ER at AMC in Manhattan as no doctors were giving the right meds. He is currently hospitalized.

My dog certainly has a lot of personality. He is truly something else. He does not like fights, he will put himself in the middle to stop it. He will make you give him treats with his puppy face and will forever protect the home and the family for as long as he can. He is a bit grumpy at times but truly funny when he wants to. He is also an agility champion!
