Tangelo has been with me for eight years, since he was just a few months old. A friend of mine's mother was fostering him and she thought of me to be his forever home! Tangelo came to me when I was in my first house after moving out of my parents' for the first time, joining the girl cats I'd gotten the year before. Tangelo's been with me for my move to Tennessee, and my return move to NC.

My mother noticed Tangelo straining to urinate and not being able to while I was at work on Thursday, March 27th. I called my best friend to take us to the emergency vet about an hour from my house -- Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral. His urinary tract was 95% blocked and I took out a loan to fund his treatment. However after a day and a half home, he's back at ECVR for a re-block.

Tangelo is SO chatty and super cuddly but only on his terms. You can only pet him in three specific places but the second you're sitting he's in your lap, making biscuits and purring. He is peak orange cat behavior, there's not logic to him just pure vibes. His favorite toy is his carrot kicker and he loves to go to town on his twine scratching post! Tangelo headbutts me awake when he wants pets!

I am a full-time college student and full-time server at The Clubs at St. James. The vet bills have already put me almost $3000 into debt and I have exhausted my financial resources. The vet encourages a PU surgery to prevent blocks from reoccurring.
