Tank is a 7 year old American Staffordshire Terrier in Aledo, IL, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Tank came into our lives at 7 weeks old. I happened to come across a post on Facebook with puppies for sale. We had just lost our 10 year old lab to cancer. We swore that "we were done for a while."These little pups were so cute and my wife's birthday was coming up. The rest was history.

Our local vet diagnosed our pup. Aledo Veterinary Clinic. He referred to Summer Street Animal hospital in Burlington IA. Originally he tore the crucial ligament in his left knee. I bought some$1500 custom braces to help but they didn't. While trying to figure out what to do he jumped on our bed and tore the same ligament in his other leg (both rear) he now needs $8000 to repair them.

Tank is a crucial part to our family. He's my buddy, my son's best friend and sleeping partner. Since he can't walk up the stairs anymore by himself my 17/yo son uses a home made sling to take him upstairs to his bed every night. This pup is our watch dog, bed buddy, and house hippo. We love him very much and hope to have him around for may years to come.

Long story short we lost a 13/yo pup in December, but not before spending thousands trying to save her. We then rescued a great dane and have spent hundreds more trying to save her and it's still ongoing. There's a ton more, but not enough room to explain it.
