About this campaign
Tank was given to me by a friend when he was just a puppy. Me and my son picked him out of the litter, he came straight to my son. He currently lives with me only, as my son has passed away. He is seven years old, will be eight in May. I do not have any other pets, but he does see my parents dogs often.
I have a dog park near my home that me and Tank go to everyday for him to run around and explore. He does like water, whether swimming or just playing in it. He does love to play fetch with his favorite ball. He gets a Milkbone biscuit every morning as part of his routine. He loves to snuggle with you on the couch.
He has a loving personality and is my best friend. He makes me smile just looking at his big eyes. He tries to be a lap dog, even though he is seventy pounds. If I'm having a bad day he will come sit by me and nudge me with his nose. He is one of the last things I have that reminds me of my son. He helps me emotionally and mentally when I'm having a hard time.
Tank was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor that is cancerous on his scrotum. It is required that he be neutered and have a scrotal ablation done. He is a patient at Banfield in League City. He has never had any medical issues and is up to date with his vaccinations. He has been going to the same vet for the last year or so.
Unfortunately, I have limited income and the price of the surgery is the amount of 3 paychecks for me. He needs the surgery sooner than later, but it would take me months to save up the money required. The vet does not do payment plans, and I was not approved for Care Credit
