Tank is a 13-year-old Lab/Pit in Inver Grove Heights, MN, who needs $1,000 for Stage 2 Soft Tissue Sarcoma.

In 2010 I fostered Tank and his siblings through a rescue group I volunteered for, he was very special and I chose to adopt him. He has been a loyal and amazing companion. Tank has been by my side through it all. In 2019 he developed a mass lump and had it removed! Now a few years later it has returned and is affecting his back leg due to the size! My wishes for him is to be happy a bit longer!

Tank loves to talk when it comes to treats and knows just where they are. He is a cuddle bug and loves blankets and pillows and taking up half the bed while sprawled out! Tank also loves the sun and relaxing on the deck! He loves when people come to visit and pay all the attention to him and does the stare down for love.

Tank loves his squeaker toys and pulling the stuffing out! He has his spot to sit and play right next to the couch. He knows to check all the grocery bags when I come home to see if there is something for him to enjoy. When enjoying time with mom he moans until it’s all about him and mom no phones in use

Tank has had a large stage 2 soft tissue sarcoma in 2019 and had it removed and it had now has returned. It has grown fast and is bumping out his back leg when walking. The skin is getting irritated from the size rub I g and he now has trouble getting up the steps and onto beds. Surgery will definitely help Tank while he can live out his finally years.

Due to hours short at work and getting the cost estimate for his surgery was definitely heartbreaking as I want my baby to love out his final years happy and comfortable. It would mean so much for Tank and I to have his surgery and be able to create more memories together.
