Help Tank Get Back on His Feet

Tank should be running, playing, and enjoying life with the family who loves him. Instead, he is struggling to walk comfortably because he has torn cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs) in both knees.

Tank's problems began with a limp and difficulty using one of his back legs. When his condition continued to worsen, veterinary evaluations revealed that both of his knees were affected by CCL tears.

Because Tank is young and weighs 70 pounds, these injuries have severely impacted his mobility and quality of life. His veterinarians have recommended TPLO surgery to stabilize his knees and help him regain comfortable, functional movement.

Tank will need surgery on both knees. The estimated cost is approximately $5,000 per knee, with the first surgery needed for the completely torn ligament and the second planned about two months later. He will also need follow-up care and rehabilitation during his recovery.
