Tasha Louise is a 10-year-old Siberian Husky in Ankeny, IA, who needs $842 for a mass removal.

We came across Tasha at a local shelter. She was unfortunately returned 5 times to the shelter before we found her. She had a rough past but now is experiencing the love she deserves. When we introduced her to our other Siberian Husky it was amazing. They both love being with each other and us. Tasha is my Husband's Emotional Support Animal and has helped him more than any doctor could.

Tasha and our other Husky both sleep wherever we sleep. But Tasha has to sleep next to my husband. She doesn't like our other Husky to sleep by his side of the bed. Tasha is very social with the family and neighbors. As well as other dogs. She is a daddy's girl in the end. She will even come between him and other people if she senses anything off about that person. She has the best life now

With our limited incomes and the unexpected circumstance involving Tasha and her needs we are not able to cover the cost. But we refuse to give her up or give up on her. She is part of our family and I know my husband will sleep better knowing she is healthy again.

Unfortunately Tasha has a growth on her back foot that requires surgical removal. It's not cancer but the vet said it is important to treat asap. The clinic is a local outfit here in Ankeny. Where do I begin. She is a goofball who would rather lay down in a snow drift than go for a walk. She is still adjusting to being more vocal. Her go-to toy is a squeaky tennis ball. She will do anything for a treat. She doesn't have to do anything to get us to smile. Just having her here is enough to keep my husband calm. She is his world.
