Tater Tot was rescued at 8 weeks old along with his litter mate, Amelia Bedelia. Tater tot was rushed to the Blue Pearl in Levittown, PA on 6/9 when I found him laying, unresponsive, in the litter box. He couldn't even hold his head up on his own. He was diagnosed at the vet as having an acute kidney injury and was in critical condition. He was given dialysis for 8 hours yesterday and is going through a second round of dialysis (12 hours) today.

Tater is everyone’s favorite. He won’t let a single person in the house without testing out their lap. He loves to sit in the window and look into the backyard, watching birds and squirrels play. He climbs up on the kitchen counter and sticks his head in the window when the dogs are outside, frequently chatting with them to remind them he is waiting for them to come inside and play.
