Tato is a 5 month old Australian Shepherd in Kansas City, MO, who needs $710 for Partial Tail Amputation.

Tato was a beautiful surprise born into our family by happy accident. He was the first one out and my little chunk from day one. He was the first one to venture out of the whelping pool and find his independence. Tato is a German Shepard/Australian shepherd poodle baby with a quirky wavy golden brown coat and brown eyes. He will melt your heart with one look. I knew he belonged with us.

Tato was playing outside in the back yard being the playful wild child that he is when a broken piece of the retaining wall fell and landed on the end of his tail. The broken stone almost completely severed the end of his tail. I cleaned it and wrapped it then immediately called our preferred vet for the soonest appointment. Our vet performed a partial tail amputation on little Tato

Tato is a spunky, silly, sweet, vocal and loving boy. He loves to keep me company in the kitchen. He’s my little buddy and follows me everywhere I go. His favorite toys crinkle and crunch. He’s a sneaky baby and will stick his face in any open drawer. Tato is fortunate and has many furry friends including a little brother and sister and an American bully next door.

We need help paying for Tato’s surgery. Life has been hectic. I’ve been off work due to spinal surgery myself with no pay. So we are trying to push through on a single income until I can get back to work. I know times are hard for everyone so any help is deeply appreciated
