Taya is a 10-year-old Papillon in Las Vegas , NV, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra Surgery.

I worked for a small dog rescue in South Florida and one day Taya came in as an owner surrender. She was only a few months old at the time. I took her home for a sleepover because she looked so sad in her kennel and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We’ve been together 10 years now and she came into my life right as I had lost a pregnancy. She has a big sister name Trixie- 4 year old Airedale

Taya loves nothing more than to be with her family. She truly just wants love and to be loved. She loves to spin in fast circles and get the zoomies. She’s also a great dancer and hops on her back feet. She refuses any dog beds and has to sleep touching me so she knows when I get up. She’s truly my best friend and never leaves my side. She winks when you ask her questions as if she understands

Tay loves to eat chicken and chase lizards. You can’t say either word without her going crazy. When she is on her best behavior she puts a paw in the air. We call it her manners. She’s extremely smart. She loves to be the center of attention and is very codependent with me. We’ve been thru so much the last 10 years. I honestly don’t believe I’d be here today if it weren’t for Taya. She’s my world.

Tay started having issues out of nowhere walking, lethargy, and then oddly, a very congested nose. After blood tests, the vet believes she has pyometra and needs emergency surgery to remove her uterus. I feel like the absolute worst dog mom. I just wish she could tell me how to help her pain.

This was completely unexpected and we just had to borrow money from family to fix our car prior to this happening. I was denied care credit and switch pay. We don’t have the necessary funds at this very moment and I can’t lose my dog. It’s too soon. Too sudden. And fixable!
