Taz is a 2 year old American Shorthair in Santee, CA, who needs $2,000 for Pelvic and Spine Imagery with Sedation.

I got Taz at 6months old from a friend. He was living outdoors hunting for himself and getting a little bit of kibble to eat. I took him home and tried to keep him indoors but was unable to. He would not go far and stayed in the back yard or neighbors yards and came home at night to sleep inside.

The other night we went out and never came back. Then today 5 days later he was out front unable to come inside. I think he got hit and was able to make it back. He is being evaluated but something is wrong with his pelvis and possibly spine. Im disabled myself so its been hard just to get him evaluated.

He has brought me back from my depression after having 23 surgeries myself. Last year I had 4 surgeries and after each one he would lay on my bed with me amd not leave my side till I started feeling better. I used to be a zookeeper so I trained taz to do behaviors and he loves to work for his treats.

Im disabled and on a fixed income. Im able to pay for his initial evaluation but i cant afford the rest of the care. I still have to have another surgery myself in a few months. Any help would be great i just want to give him the best care possible
