About this campaign
While I was married, we adopted Teddy as a puppy. He is a well socialized Chow who loves humans and other dogs. After the separation, Teddy and I lived in motel rooms that accepted dogs until I was able to get stable housing. He is now eight years old and it’s just the two of us.
Teddy is the only pup in the household. He interacts well with humans and other dogs. He enjoys riding in the car, the dog park, visits from fur friends, and long walks. Since the knee problem started, he misses walking.
Teddy is an amazing and sweet boy. He understands English and anticipates what we will be doing next. Teddy’s personality and behavior reminds me of the Dog Whisperer’s dog “Daddy.” He’s super mellow. He enjoys the dog park, walking and chilling out. He loves other dogs. No matter how much pain he’s in these days, he’s always waiting at the door when I come home.
On Christmas Day Teddy began limping at the end of his daily walk. After two vet visits, he was referred to an orthopedic vet who recently diagnosed Teddy with a displaced knee cap.
Although I work two jobs, I cannot afford to pay for the surgery. Teddy misses his daily walks and is on pain meds twice a day. His knee is stage two-three of four and if I delay, stage four will be inoperable.
