Teddy Bear is a 10-year-old pit bull in Deltona, FL, who needs $2,000 for radiation of possible cancer.

Teddy came into our life before he was even born. We rescued his mother and father from being put down and she was pregnant when we got her. His mother and I couldn't abort her because I don't like bringing dogs into this world just to get put down and she had major heartworms. She was used as a breeding dog and she had 7 puppies - one of them happened to be Teddy Bear...

Teddy has a sister as I told you. He came from a litter we had and they were all adopted out. Most of them came back because of mistreatment. He was adopted out for two years and his bones were showing in his back and he has blood cells coming through his skin. He has been adopted out with his sister Precious and they are two peas in a pod and cannot be separated because they get very very anxious

My husband works out of town and I barely get to see him once every few months - just to keep food on the table for the dogs and medications for all of them. They are all 10 years old seniors and we also took in the dog that got stabbed 23 times, his work has slowed down.

Teddy has had lots of problems with lick granulomas on the back of his feet. He likes to chase lizards and he would hit his feet on the bricks and then he would get infections in them. He was born with swollen lymph nodes in the back of his legs he has been on antibiotics on and off most of his life. Recently I had to give him amikayson for 36 days straight with banana bags of fluid.

Teddy is very special as he has one of the sweetest souls that you would ever run into. All his sisters and brothers are the same. His mom died of cancer and he is special to us because it is personality that shines through. Nothing gets him down not even this fluid blood clots and tissues of a cancer - he still kept that same personality like nothing was wrong.
