Teddy was just 10 months old when we took him in. His previous owners didn’t take proper care of him, and they were planning to put him down if no one stepped up. We couldn’t let that happen.

From the moment he ran into our home, he lit up. His tail wagged, his eyes sparkled—he knew he was safe. He was finally home.

On a day that started like any other, my entire world was flipped upside down on April 6th.
Teddy, my sweet, loving dog, was hit by a car. I remember the screams of terror, the rush of adrenaline, and the pure panic that flooded me.

He has the most gentle soul and a goofy, loving personality that makes everyone around him smile. He’s incredibly loyal and always seems to know when someone in the house needs a little extra comfort. Whether it’s cuddling up next to you when you’re sad or greeting you with endless tail wags when you come home, Teddy’s presence brings warmth to our home. He gets along wonderfully with everyone.

We’re facing a very difficult situation. Teddy needs surgery and we have reached a point where we can no longer afford the cost on our own. We’ve explored every option and it’s heartbreaking to admit that we need help but we do. Having him healthy again would mean everything
