About this campaign
Teddy came into my life less than a week ago and unfortunately began showing symptoms of parvo right away. He’s tiny, fluffy, adventurous, snuggly, playful, and has way too much life left in him to go this soon! His prognosis is good as symptoms weren’t too severe, but he needs hospitalization as he’s so tiny and his little body needs help. He’s so sweet and I love him a lot.
In my short time with him, Teddy was eager to bond with his sister, a sassy torbie who was very weary of him, and was doing a great job with potty training! He loves snuggles and playtime and really wanted to eat all the cat food!
Teddy is my first puppy and immediately melted my heart. He’s so fluffy and well-behaved for his age and looks like a tiny version of a dog that I had in childhood. I bonded with him very quickly and am devastated by his sudden illness.
Teddy has parvo, a scary disease for puppies. It was caught before symptoms were too severe, but given his tiny body, one missed meal quickly turned the situation into an emergency and he’s requiring hospitalization and IV fluids. He’s a fighter and has a lot of spunk in him, but I can’t afford more than 1-2 nights of hospitalization.
I am obsessed with this puppy and am doing all I can to save him. Estimated costs for his care are $3,000-7,000, depending on how many days he needs to be hospitalized, and I’m taking on considerable debt to support him, but will not be able to afford more than 1-2 days.
